Agic Technology and Insight invite you on October the 24th at Microsoft headquarters to learn about the new GDPR and discover the practices and solutions to keep you prepared by its coming (on May the 25th, 2018)

The topics covered will be:

  • GDPR: the methodological approach to compliance
  • The importance of data: security at the baseline level
  • Privacy by default on the client and in productivity environments
  • The Agic Technology - Insight joint solution

The purpose of the GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation is to harmonize all the laws on the confidentiality of information and privacy of European countries by addressing not only the legal but also the technical aspects of the organization.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets the foundation for transforming business organization beyond the mere normative fulfillment.

Privacy has always been a matter of greater complexity nowadays, with the new GDPR, attention is being paid to the real security of sensitive data handled by businesses and this step leads to the birth of the Data Protection Officer, whose role will be that of monitoring the internal processes of the company structure. The GDPR has focused on the topic of Data Protection, a topic that, due to the latest computer cyber attacks, requires more and more attention. Business IT security is constantly being tested by various types of attacks, whose frequency is growing faster. Just think of the recent attack by WannaCry ransomware that has hit more than 150 countries between Europe and Asia causing serious damages around the world. Such a serious attack implies the capabilities of today’s hackers, always on the constant search for shortages and inadequacies in IT systems, which must also be protected with the help of leading industry specialists.

The Regulation applies to all companies that treat personal data of individuals residing in Europe, regardless of their legal or corporate headquarters, and consequently they will have to adapt to it, not only European law firms, but also all those companies dealing with Europeans citizens’ data.
