"Mass in B min." by Johann Sebastian BACH. The New York conference of musicologist Francesco Zimei will be interactive thanks to Microsoft Teams.

On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2019 at 8.30 p.m., in the splendid setting of the Basilica of San Giorgio in Velabro in Rome, there will be the concert "Messa in si min" by Johann Sebastian BACH which closes the 7th edition of the Early Music Festival, a prestigious project carried out by the Department of Ancient Music of the Conservatory of State Music "Ottorino Respighi" in Latina.

Our Paolo Capirci will conduct the Ensemble composed of students from thirteen Conservatories supported by teachers.

The wide-ranging project carried out by the Department of Ancient Music of "Ottorino Respighi" aims to create a network between different Conservatories of Music on a national basis. In this regard the event in question will be preceded by a live streaming conference held by the musicologist Francesco Zimei, delivered for the first time on Microsoft Teams platform, Saturday, November 16 at 16:00. Francesco Zimei will be in multimedia connection from New York, where he will be in that period as "Research Fellow" of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies of Columbia University.

Thanks to Microsoft Teams it will be possible to join the conference from multiple locations, with multiple stations interactively connected. Each conservatory will be able to participate simply by providing a room with internet connection and screen. The participating conservatories will receive a link to directly access the live event. Throughout the entire presentation, those attending can book the space for a detailed question, indicating in the box their name with a caption on the subject of the application. At the end of the presentation, the speaker will give the floor in succession through Microsoft Teams to the participants displayed in the booking queue.
